About Kondor Kidz

Kondor Kidz is a junior golf exclusive online store featuring golf clubs, accessories and equipment.

We offer a flexible monthly subscription service that lets you pay for your children’s golf clubs monthly, rather than having to pay for the set upfront. Once they outgrow their set, customers can opt to exchange for a larger set. We then refurbish the old set before they are then sent out to a new owner.

Kondor Kidz is for junior golfers of all abilities. From complete novice to scratch golfers, toddlers to teenagers, we have a set to suit your needs. We provide high quality golf clubs, with the flexibility of a subscription service.

Our founder Callum created Kondor Kidz with the vision of every child having access to try golf without the worry of expensive start-up costs.

Callum works with his dedicated team of golf enthusiasts to give you and your child the best golfing journey, from toddler to teen!

Subscriptions

Kondor Kidz advise all clubs should be chosen based upon height rather than age. Use our club selector tool to find the best set to suit your child.

We recommend if your child is at the end of a size bracket, then you should choose the next size up.

Absolutely! All of our clubs are designed for every gender. Our only determining factors are player height and left or right-handed.

We work with fantastic suppliers who all focus on creating clubs that offer both durability and performance. They spend lots of time and money on R&D creating the best products for kids, rather than offering an adults clubhead on a shortened shaft as many of us have previously used.

We offer these clubs as brand-new or refurbished sets. All of our refurbished sets go through an extensive procedure making sure they are fit for purpose for their next owner!

Each set has its own monthly subscription fee. Our prices range from £1.49 for a toddlers starter set up to around £30 which is for a full set of clubs with everything you need for the golf course. However, our average monthly fee is around £10 which represents incredible value.

We aim to be as transparent as possible, so all costs are explained in your Hire Agreement. But below is a list of all possible costs that you might be charged. 

  • Monthly fee - this is the fee you pay monthly for your subscription, this won’t ever change during the time you have your set. All sets and brand have different monthly fees. You can check these on the club selector page.
  • Delivery fee – We charge all customers a £5 delivery fee for all new subscriptions.
  • Exchange fee – We charge £8 for all exchanges to cover courier fees. This allows us to keep your monthly fee as low as possible.
  • Cancellation fee - We charge £8 for all cancelations to cover courier fees. This allows us to keep your monthly fee as low as possible.
  • Repair Fees – Any sets which have damage beyond reasonable use will be charged a repair fee for parts and labour, or a full replacement (we will ensure to always opt for the cheapest option).
  • Theft fees – If your set is stolen then you will have to pay the remaining RRP value of the bike, minus any monthly fees you have already pay. Those with Kondor Cover, will only have to pay the total loss for that set as stated below.
  • 2+ & 4+ Sets - £25
  • Starter Set - £70
  • Intermediate Set - £110
  • Pro Set - £150

Our minimum subscription length is 3 months. 

All sets that are returned to us are refurbished and reused. This means they are repaired and cleaned to a high standard ready to be sent to their new owner!

We are working hard to create a sustainable golfing world, meaning we don't sent any old sets to landfill!

All of our refurbished sets go through an extensive procedure making sure they are fit for purpose for their next owner. That process consists of:

  • All clubs will have the grips checked over for wear and tear, any sets whose grips are showing signs of wear will be replaced.
  • All shafts are checked for any scratches, cracks or bends. Any shaft which has any of the following will be replaced for a new exact replacement shaft.
  • All clubheads are checked for any signs of rust, scratches and stone marks. If we find any of the following we will work to tidy up the clubs using a variety of techniques.
  • Clubheads also have all heads checked to ensure both lofts and lies are correct as per manufacturer guidelines when leaving the factory.
  • All clubs and bags are deep cleaned and disinfected.

Orders

We aim to have all orders with you 1 and 5 working days.

If you would like to cancel your order, then please contact info@kondorkidz.co.uk as soon as possible to discuss your options. New orders can pass through our system for dispatch within 15 minutes and they cannot be cancelled once they have been processed by our warehouse.

When we receive your online order an order acknowledgment screen will appear, this includes an order reference number. You will also receive an order confirmation email.

If your card was refused, you can try and resubmitting your order using a different card. For details on why your was refused, please contact your card issuer.

A product page will indicate general availability of the item. If no stock is available, the out of stock message will appear.

Website orders are fully automated so we cannot add to existing orders once they have been placed. If you would like to order additional items then you will need to generate a new order.

No, currently we are only shipping within the UK.

Cancellations

You may return your set of clubs and cancel your subscription at any point. We aim to make Kondor Kidz as flexible as possible as we understand circumstances are ever changing.

Please note if cancelling your membership within the first 3 months, you will have to pay the rest of your membership fees owed up to your third month.

All cancellations cost £8. Please note this fee is to help pay for courier fees, and is charged to ensure we can keep monthly membership fees as low as possible. To cancel please email, info@kondorkidz.co.uk.

Your direct debit subscription will be received once we receive the clubs back. We will not cancel the subscription before this date to ensure no members try to keep their clubs after this point.

Simple answer is no. As part of your subscription you have signed up to a contract between Kondor Kidz. However, that does not mean we are tying you down to a ridiculous contract. You can cancel your subscription by following the correct procedures and returning your clubs. For further information or to cancel your subscription please email info@kondorkidz.co.uk.

Once you receive your new set, move all your accessories from your old bag across to your new one. Make sure to check every pocket for things like tees and ball markers. Once your all your pockets are empty on the old bag, you are ready to package the old set into the box in which your new set arrived in.

Returns

If you experience a fault with a product that you have purchased from us then please email info@kondorkidz.co.uk for a free return shipping label. For any other issues please also contact info@kondorkidz.co.uk

Once your all your pockets are empty on the golf old bag, you are ready to package the old set up. Simply put it in the box your new set arrived in, seal it up, put the delivery label somewhere visible on the box and drop it off to your local post office.

Kondor Cover

For extra peace of mind with your child’s golf clubs subscription, we recommend Kondor Cover. At only £1 extra per month you will be covered for any repairs, accidental damage and excess cover in the event of total loss. For further details check out our Kondor Cover page!

We want kids out on the course playing and having fun, so we expect to see general wear and tear of our clubs. If the damage falls outside of reasonable use, then we may have to charge a fee to cover our repair costs. To avoid having to pay any extra fees we recommend opting for the Kondor Cover.

 

In the event of theft, we would charge the value of the clubs, with the monthly payments you’ve already made deducted from the price. To avoid having to pay any extra fees we recommend opting for the Kondor Cover.
